ALABAMA COVID-19 RESOURCES
It is the mission of Central Six AlabamaWorks to create a 21st century workforce that is proactive, responsive and results driven; supports the region’s diverse population and employers; and provide quality job opportunities in support of the vibrant regional economy. To do so we must ensure that we not only provide and create opportunities for our residents, but that we ensure these opportunities are in safe and healthy environments. In an effort to combat the spread of the COVID-19 virus, we are aligning with recommendations from the Alabama Department of Public Health, the Alabama Department of Commerce, the State Department of Education and the City of Birmingham to observe social distancing and not assemble groups larger than 10 people prior to April 30, 2020.
While we are observing this request, we would like to provide you with additional details and resources to assist you during these uncertain times. Please see below and/or feel free to reach out to the Central Six Staff.
Here is a list of links and resources that can help you find the help you need, while still adhering to the Safer at Home orders.
