Home Health Aide Apprenticeship
The Central Six Home Health Aide Apprenticeship Program prepares an individual with the technical skills needed for a successful career in the healthcare industry. The registered apprenticeship program is an industry-driven, high-quality career pathway where an individual obtains paid work experience, related instruction, mentorship, and a portable and nationally-recognized credential. As an apprentice, you will “earn as you learn,” working full-time for one of our employer partners.

Apprenticeship
In the Central Six Home Health Aide Apprenticeship Program, an apprentice will develop skills to care for people who have disabilities, chronic illnesses, cognitive impairments, or age-related problems, who have the need or desire to still live in their own home. Home health aides provide basic services that include administering medications, changing bandages, and checking vital signs like temperature, and pulse and respiration rates.
